We can't wait to meet you!

Welcome! We're glad you are interested in visiting!

Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. When you are ready to take that step, we want to make sure that you feel informed before you arrive and welcomed when you are here. Common Questions

What should I expect?

Each Sunday, we focus on creating a relaxed, comfortable setting. It is important to us that you can walk in and instantly feel like you are at home. You will find warm, welcoming people all around dressed comfortably. Expect suits to jeans and all in between! Our worship space is in a gymnasium, so temperature may vary. Layers are always a good option!

We enjoy getting to know one another, so we offer a time of fellowship 30 prior to Sunday School as well as 30 minutes prior to the worship service. Refreshments are provided.

What is a typical service like?

Our service lasts a little over an hour and includes music, scripture, and a 25ish minute message from our minister. Rest assured that we have a printed bulletin to guide you through the service.

What do you have for my kids?

We love families! Your children will experience a fun-filled, safe, and welcoming environment designed to help them connect with peers, leaders, and most importantly, God. Our fully vetted volunteer team is passionate about teaching the truth of God’s Word in fun and age-appropriate ways. Sunday School meets from 9:30-10:30 am. Rooms are divided by age groups: 0-2 years, 3-5 years, K-5th grades, and 6th-12th grades. Nursery and Children’s Church are provided during the worship service.

Do you offer Sunday School?

Yes! Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings in classrooms connected to the gym. A warm welcome awaits you!

Trinity Class (Room 100): Lecture-style with guest teachers, offering Bible-based lessons for adults.
Journey Class (Room 120): Discussion-style offering Bible study series. Lessons are led by a class member while other members are encouraged to participate in the lively discussion.
Foundations & Cornerstone Classes (Room 121/122): Hybrid mix of lecture and discussion-style formats designed for any person seeking to embark on an exploration of the Bible and practical lessons of the historic Christian faith in the Wesleyan Methodist tradition.
Children's Class & Mountain Movers Youth Class (Room 110): Our Wesley children and youth learn Biblical truths and discipleship practices, why they matter, and how to use them to guide their lives. In addition, they enjoy singing, Bible activities, and games that all tie back to the message for the day.

Where do I park?

Wesley Methodist Church rents space from Western Heights Baptist Church. A-frame signs will guide you to the gymnasium side of the campus. You will see a big blue awning with our logo at the end—that's our entrance! There is plenty of parking. Blue cones mark spaces reserved for handicapped, families with small children, or anyone needing a little extra assistance.
